Morning: Hotel or Airport Pickup
Your guide and driver will collect you from your hotel, residence or Bujumbura International Airport. After a short introduction, you will begin the scenic drive toward the Batwa community.

Spend time with members of the Batwa community and learn about their traditions, history and connection to the land.

Enjoy a private or specially arranged performance by the Royal Drummers of Burundi. The performance includes traditional drumming, dancing, singing and the famous display in which drummers carry and balance the heavy drums on their heads.
You will also learn about the sacred role drums played in Burundi’s royal ceremonies, national celebrations and traditional communication.
Return to Bujumbura
After the performance, begin the return journey to Bujumbura. You will be dropped off at your hotel, residence or the airport in the evening.
