Day 1 – Bujumbura to Gitega

Batwa Cultural Visit & Gishora Royal Drums

07:30 – Departure from Bujumbura

The drive to Gitega takes approximately 2–2.5 hours, passing through scenic hills, villages, and rural landscapes.


10:00 – Batwa Tribe Cultural Visit

The first stop is a visit to a Batwa community, one of the oldest indigenous groups in the region.

During the visit you may experience:
