07:30 – Departure from Bujumbura

The journey to Kibira National Park takes approximately 2–2.5 hours and passes through beautiful countryside and mountain landscapes.
10:00 – Arrival at Kibira National Park
Upon arrival, your guide will introduce you to the park and explain its history, wildlife, and importance as one of Burundi’s largest natural forests.

10:15 – Guided Forest Walk
Enjoy a guided hike through the rainforest trails of Kibira National Park.
During the walk you may see:

13:30 – Visit Teza Tea Plantation
On the way back to Bujumbura, the tour may include a stop at the Teza Tea Plantation, one of the most beautiful tea-growing regions in Burundi.

15:30 – Return to Bujumbura
After exploring the park and tea plantation, your guide will drive you back to Bujumbura.
