Begin with the kind of experience you want
Rwanda can be a complete journey or one part of a wider East Africa holiday. Kigali offers a useful starting point for getting to know the country before travelling into contrasting landscapes. Rather than fitting every national park into a short visit, choose the experience that matters most and build the remaining days around it. M Travel helps connect the route, transport and overnight stops in a clear proposal.
Forest experiences in the north and southwest
Volcanoes National Park is associated with mountain-gorilla experiences in the north, while Nyungwe offers a different forest setting in the southwest. These activities require specific arrangements and can involve walking on uneven, sometimes muddy ground. Tell us your priorities and practical needs early. Any required permit, activity restrictions and the exact service included must be identified in the quotation before the surrounding programme is finalised.
Savannah and lakeside days
Akagera adds savannah and wetland landscapes to a Rwanda journey. It offers a different rhythm from forest trekking, with time spent exploring by vehicle and observing wildlife as conditions allow. Lake Kivu can provide a quieter stage between more active days. Combining these settings works best when the travel between them is treated as part of the itinerary, with sensible breaks and enough time at each overnight stop.
Make the regional connection worthwhile
Rwanda may be combined with Burundi or Uganda when the route and your available time support it. A multi-country trip needs more than a line between destinations: we discuss entry and exit points, handovers, luggage and what happens on each travel day. Do not book a tight onward connection on the assumption that every overland journey will take the same time. Your final programme should leave a practical margin.
A clear proposal from one travel team
Tell us your preferred dates, number of travellers, starting point and approximate budget. Include any flights or hotels already arranged and let us know which parts you want M Travel to organise. The proposal will identify the transport, guiding, accommodation, meals and activities included, along with exclusions and payment conditions. Each service is included only when stated in the package or accepted quotation.
You can explore the published packages below or use the trip planner for a personal route. Where a published price applies, book online with your chosen date and group. For a different route or an unpriced group, request a proposal. WhatsApp is useful for a first conversation; email gives you space to share a detailed brief and keep the arrangements together.
