Give Uganda enough time
Uganda brings forest, savannah, lakes and changing rural landscapes into one journey. Its variety is a reason to allow time, rather than a reason to rush between distant places. Start with the experiences you most want: a gorilla trek, chimpanzee activity, wildlife viewing or a slower nature-focused holiday. We then examine the route and overnight sequence so the travel days support those priorities.
Build forest activities into the plan
Bwindi and Mgahinga are Uganda’s mountain-gorilla destinations, while Kibale is widely associated with chimpanzee experiences. The choice of activity affects the rest of the itinerary, including where to stay before an early start. Forest walking varies with the terrain and conditions. Ask about the exact activity, permit arrangements and participation requirements before committing to a programme; general destination descriptions are not a substitute for those details.
Add a contrasting wildlife landscape
Queen Elizabeth or Murchison Falls can introduce another side of Uganda alongside a forest-focused route. Spending more than a hurried stop in one area gives the programme room for different outings and rest. We describe which drives, boat activities or other visits are included, rather than treating every activity at a destination as part of the package. Wildlife is free-ranging, and sightings cannot be scheduled or guaranteed.
Plan around the people travelling
A couple seeking photography time may choose a different route from a family or guests who prefer less walking. Share the ages of children, your preferred accommodation style and any access needs when requesting a proposal. A Rwanda or Burundi extension can be discussed, but it should fit the available days and actual transport arrangements. A focused Uganda itinerary often makes better use of limited time than adding countries for their names alone.
A clear proposal from one travel team
Tell us your preferred dates, number of travellers, starting point and approximate budget. Include any flights or hotels already arranged and let us know which parts you want M Travel to organise. The proposal will identify the transport, guiding, accommodation, meals and activities included, along with exclusions and payment conditions. Each service is included only when stated in the package or accepted quotation.
You can explore the published packages below or use the trip planner for a personal route. Where a published price applies, book online with your chosen date and group. For a different route or an unpriced group, request a proposal. WhatsApp is useful for a first conversation; email gives you space to share a detailed brief and keep the arrangements together.
