Price conditions

USD price per person for the complete 1-day programme. The displayed base price is for one traveller booking alone. Rates for 2, 3–4 and 5–8 travellers apply to one private party travelling together on the same dates and itinerary. The calculator shows the exact party total before payment. Listed transport, guiding, activity fees and programme meals are included. Airport arrival and departure transfers are included at no extra charge. Changes outside the published programme require your agreement to a separate quotation. Payment-provider fees are separate and shown before payment.

Payment and balance

Pay the full amount online, or choose a 50% deposit when departure is more than 14 days away. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the start date. Bookings made within 14 days of departure require full payment. The secure payment page shows the booking currency and exact amount to copy before opening WeTravel. A receipt upload is evidence for review; payment is recorded as verified after our team checks it.

Cancellation and refunds

If you cancel at least 7 days before departure, the amount paid is refunded in full. With at least 48 hours but less than 7 days’ notice, 50% of the amount paid is refunded. With less than 48 hours’ notice, or for a no-show, no refund is due. Any retained amount is reduced where we recover costs or resell the cancelled booking. One date change may be requested at least 7 days before departure; any difference in price must be agreed. If M Travel cancels, choose an alternative date or a full refund. If a listed service cannot be provided, we offer an agreed alternative or refund the unprovided portion. Eligible refunds are initiated within 7 business days, normally to the original payment method; banks and payment providers may take longer. Send cancellation requests by email or WhatsApp with your booking reference. These terms do not limit applicable consumer rights.

Weather and changes

The guide may change the order of visits for weather, road conditions or site access while preserving the agreed programme where possible. Any material replacement is discussed with you. If an included service cannot be provided and you do not accept the alternative, the unprovided portion is refunded under the package terms. Gishora performances are outdoors; rain may require a wait or a change in timing.

Day 1 — Private Gishora drumming experience and Host-led community and craft encounter
Private pickup in Gitega. Visit Gishora Drum Sanctuary for a privately arranged drumming performance and an introduction to the place and its traditions. Leave time for explanation, questions and photographs where permitted. The performance takes place outdoors, so your guide may adjust its timing around rain without rushing the experience. Meet community hosts through a visit arranged with their agreement. Let the hosts introduce the craft, work or conversation they have chosen to share, with interpretation from your guide. The hosting fee is included. Portraits, recordings and purchases remain optional and require the relevant person’s permission. Finish with drop-off in Gitega.

Children are welcome with a parent or responsible adult aged 18 or over. The published per-person rate applies equally to adults and children; there is no automatic child discount. Include each child’s age in Special requests. Parents supervise children throughout; discuss mobility, noise sensitivity and equipment needs with the team before travel.
