Price conditions

USD price per person for the complete 3-day programme. The displayed base price is for one traveller booking alone. Rates for 2, 3–4 and 5–8 travellers apply to one private party travelling together on the same dates and itinerary. The calculator shows the exact party total before payment. Listed transport, guiding, activity fees and programme meals are included. The published room basis includes one private room per booked adult; children share with their accompanying adult. Airport arrival and departure transfers are included at no extra charge. Changes outside the published programme require your agreement to a separate quotation. Payment-provider fees are separate and shown before payment.

Payment and balance

Pay the full amount online, or choose a 50% deposit when departure is more than 14 days away. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the start date. Bookings made within 14 days of departure require full payment. The secure payment page shows the booking currency and exact amount to copy before opening WeTravel. A receipt upload is evidence for review; payment is recorded as verified after our team checks it.

Cancellation and refunds

If you cancel at least 30 days before departure, the amount paid is refunded in full. With 14–29 days’ notice, 50% of the amount paid is refunded. With less than 14 days’ notice, or for a no-show, no refund is due. Any retained amount is reduced where we recover costs or resell the cancelled booking. A date change requested at least 30 days before departure can be considered; any price difference must be agreed before the change is accepted. If M Travel cancels the journey, choose an agreed alternative or a full refund. If a listed service cannot be provided, we offer an agreed alternative or refund the unprovided portion. Eligible refunds are initiated within 7 business days, normally to the original payment method; banks and payment providers may take longer. Send cancellation requests by email or WhatsApp with your booking reference. These terms do not limit applicable consumer rights.

Weather and changes

The guide may change the order of visits for weather, road conditions or site access while preserving the agreed programme where possible. Any material replacement is discussed with you. If an included service cannot be provided and you do not accept the alternative, the unprovided portion is refunded under the package terms. Gishora performances are outdoors; rain may require a wait or a change in timing.

Itinerary

Day 1 — Private Gishora drumming experience
Begin with private pickup in Bujumbura. Visit Gishora Drum Sanctuary for a privately arranged drumming performance and an introduction to the place and its traditions. Leave time for explanation, questions and photographs where permitted. The performance takes place outdoors, so your guide may adjust its timing around rain without rushing the experience. Overnight in Gitega, with dinner and accommodation included.

Day 2 — Gitega National Museum and city introduction and Gitega town and local trading life
After breakfast in Gitega, continue the private programme. Visit the National Museum in Gitega and explore the accessible displays with your guide. Connect the objects and explanations to the surrounding city through a short orientation walk or drive. Museum entry is included; follow the venue’s photography rules and allow time for questions. Discover Gitega beyond a single museum stop through a guided walk in selected public areas and trading streets. Your guide introduces the rhythm of the town and helps with respectful conversations and craft browsing. The walk uses ordinary public spaces and does not promise access to private homes or government buildings. Overnight in Gitega, with dinner and accommodation included.

Day 3 — Kiganda and Muramvya royal-history landscape
After breakfast in Gitega, continue the private programme. Travel through the Muramvya highlands to explore the royal-history landscape around Kiganda with your guide. Combine accessible heritage stops with explanations and countryside views. This is a guided historical visit; private ceremonies, restricted buildings and unannounced access to sacred places are not part of the programme. Finish with drop-off in Bujumbura.

Describe practical mobility or assistance needs before booking so we can assess the actual route, vehicle and boarding arrangements. This itinerary is not advertised as wheelchair accessible. A tailored alternative can be quoted where the published route is unsuitable.
Children and age requirements: Children are welcome with a parent or responsible adult aged 18 or over. The published per-person rate applies equally to adults and children; there is no automatic child discount. Include each child’s age in Special requests. Parents supervise children throughout; discuss mobility, noise sensitivity and equipment needs with the team before travel.
